So far we have 6 of us joining up for our travels around the good old USA.  Me, Courtney, Jen R., Melinda, Joe & Amanda. How about you Jill?  And Kat?  You two are always running or walking somewhere...I figured ya'll would be the first ones to sign up...LOL. Our first destination will be my hometown, Waimanalo, Hawaii, but I'll give details Sunday so we can all get started this coming Monday.  This will be a short first trip...15.4 miles.  So that will be a little over 2 miles per day.  I can hardly wait to get started!! Anyone else wishing to join us, just let me know so I can assign you your week to host.

Hugs!
Ann

Jill - not to heckle you (ok maybe just a little) but as much as you run, you could do that in 2 day and be done ....

I get enough flack over the daily moving thread.  I really don't want the flack on this, too.  I would prefer to just do my thing, and let others do theirs.  The moving thread is the daily reminder to get in your physical activity - no more and no less (despite what some have said about it). Plus...what fun would it be to do wthis with someone who is constantly finished in 2 days, while some struggle to get it done in 5 days (or heck...7 days).  Who needs that in their face???? Thanks for the invite.........

Hmmmm, good point, Amanda.  Maybe my measely 15 miles ain't challenging enough. Ok Jill, how 'bout this...WE will all do the Hawaii run/walk/ride for the 15 miles, while YOU go from Kapaau (on the big island) to Naalehu.  That's 113 miles.  No pressure, mind you, but it would just be so cool to have you on board with us.  But hey, if you don't wanna, that's cool too...we'll still love ya!  You're always an inspiration.

Hugs!

No worries Jill, I second what Ann said, to me your activity and zest for it is inspiring and I can't wait to get there.  Didn't mean to offend.

Forget YOU????  Who would do that??  No worries, Moniqueh...you're on board.  I DID give you your host dates, right?  Feb 25th to Mar 2nd.  Just PLEASE don't take us to Tucson....LOL!!!!! Come ONNNNNNNNN Monday!  I'm so anxious to get started!  We gonna be in MY old stomping grounds!!!!  I even have pictures!!!!!! I did think of something to consider though.  I believe most of us are riders, but we do need to keep the mileage reasonable for our walkers.  Not sure we could expect them to cover 100 miles in 7 days walking.  So how 'bout everybody remind me of their modes of transportation.  I need to hear from Courtney, Jen R., Joe, Amanda & you, Moniqueh.  I already know that Belinda's gonna try to bike it, even if her bike doesn't have a mileage guage.  I got on mine last night & 10 minutes of riding is approximately 2 miles at a speed of 12 to 13 miles per hour.  So she will need to ride about 12 minutes per day to reach the 15.4 miles.  (gee, I thought I sucked at math...lol)  I'm also riding. Ok, gotta go fix dinner.  Be back later!

Hugs!
