Today is my day
You are probably in your room resting by now. Prayers all will continue to go well for you. Hugs,

Hey all!! I am home. What an experience!! things went very well--other than a bit of a delay, didn't get back to my room until 7pm on Thursday. The upper GI this morning really kicked my butt. I didn't know that they expected you to lay flat!! I think they are a bit off their rockers...but I did manage, and everything looked good. For the most part, I feel pretty good...a little tender and sore, but the ride home dislodged a lot of the gas...so I am feeling much better in that department. I was doing pretty well in the hospital with the walking--tried to do at least 2 to 3 laps around the nurses station every few hours. I did manage to get in all 3 carnation instant breakfast shakes today...so my protein requirement for the day is done!!!!
All in all...I can't thank you all enough for your support and prayers. I know for a fact that your prayers and the prayers of others from my church are what contributed to my doing so well. I was not in the least bit nervous in the pre-op area, just as cool as a cucumber--and that is DEFINITELY not like me!!!
Thanks again, and I will keep you all posted.
much love!!
Rebekah
