New to VA forum

Hello everyone,   I am looking forward to having surgery Feb 13 (kinda sucks the romance out of Valantines Day) but thats ok! I think I will try to attend support group in Hopewell (where at in hospital?).  I'm having Lap Band in Richmond, are there other Lap Bands in the group in Hopewell? Thanks

Welcome !! the 13th will be right around the corner! The hopewell support group is in class room A/B in the basement under the Emg. Room. We meet every 2&4 Mondays from 6:30-8 hope to see you there this Monday. Jackie

Welcome to the VA Board and Congrats to your up coming  Feb. surgery. Best wishes to you and if there is anything we can do just ask thats what we are here for and there are some real good folks down your way so  head on over to there support group meets there in Richmond.

Oops,..theres a group that meets in Richmond at St Marys on Thursdays. There is also our group that meets in Hopewell at John Randolph Medical Center (JRMC) on 2nd and 4th Mondays.  Don't want anyone to confuse the two.
