Chat and Great News !!

I am here in Colonial Heights tonight .. alone .. wanting to talk .. but no one here .. so if there is anyone that wants to chat .. Look to the left and enter the chat room .. I would love to chat ..  Second ..  Friday after being out of work now for almost 2 years .. I was offered a postion with DHL that could prove to be a very rewarding and lucritive position .  I am still weighing my decision on what to do .. but it would mean 24 hour contact with 2 Overseas agencies .. high profile .. and travel .. yes travel .. one of my customers is in France !! And yes .. I would get to go soon after accepting my position to meet my clients ..  Now .. mind you .. not having adrenal glands .. means I am to try to avoid stress .. so you can see where my delima is ..  Just pray that the right decision is made .. as God has his hands all over this for me .  So .. anyone want to chat .. I am in there .. or note me here .. otherwise .. back to surfing the net !  Niters ..  Tink

that's great news on the job offer.  i can't wait to see you on friday. i went to the chat room, but you weren't there. i am fixin to go to bed. i kinda over did the munchies and watchin football today. i am feelin like crap but i will not let this slip get me down. see u soon.

Congrats on the new job offer! I can see where it would definately be a hard decision with health problems and all but  I can't see you doing anything but 'shooting for the moon' so they say. It's a wonderful opportunity to see beautiful places and do things you may not otherwise get to do in life. Sounds like a wonderful job, Tink, and I am sure you would do great in it. However, I was just thinking about several emergency room visits you have had in the past year, and was wondering how that would work on transatlantic flights and in a foreign country. I would hate to discourage you, but would also hate for anything to happen to you.  Joe

Oh Trust me Joe .. I am really giving this a lot of thought . And PRAYER ..  I am managing my stress better now .. and my meds are finally starting to do better .  I really would love to do this , but I must think of my health and saftey .. you are so right .  I did get my Real Estate License this week too .. and am thinking that this may be what I need as well .. if only the market where better ..  I just cannot sit at home any more . I applied for Disablity and was turned down .. and basiclly this is a forceable transition back into the work place . I cannot live off of that money that I would get from disablity .. and while that seems cras to say .. I just cannot .. and I guess if forced too , I would really have to downsize .. and that is just not in my plans .. but you know . only God knows what is in my future .. and I have to trust that he will look out for me and provide .  Just pray that I get answers soon .  Nite ,  Tink

Girl lemme tell ya..real estate can be extremely stressful at times.  Particulary with property virgins. You truly play the role of marriage/couple therapist at the same time. It's fun and adrenaline in the beggining but this business is VERY expensive to stay in and is quite stressful to shell out all that money with such a slow market.  Certainly not trying to discourage, just wanted to give you at least my side of it. I'll pray for you

Oh sweety , I know you are not trying to discourage ... I have sold RE before .. 10 years ago in VA .. and O .. yes I know how it can be .. I am working with a Great Broker .. who is helping out as much as they can right now with the housing slump ..  Right now ... Well it does sound like a great job offer but as you said lots to think about.  May I suggest that you use some resources to help you find the right job for you.  Each state has government offices set up to help people with disabilites (I am pretty sure your adrenal issues would qualify) get employment.  The goal is to help them find jobs that would work with the limitations they have from the disability and the skills that they have. I work for this agency in Virginia.  If you would like, I can get the Maryland contact information for you when I return to work on Monday.  Just let me know.
