Hey Ya'll... Yesterday I was a sick puppy.... and got really dehydrated (after a call to my dr's office this am).. anyhoo.... I have my running watch on which you can program for cycles... on 5/5 so every 5 minuites it beeps and I sip... Ive managed to get in 18 oz of water and 40 grams of protein..  I have another 12 waiting for me. so that would be 30 oz of water.. Good gravy! Just hook me up to a faucet....  Food is staying down too so I am a happy camper today! Just giggled at the new use for my watch..

It's amazing the things that help us through all of this, isn't it?  I have had such a hard time getting all of the water in ... so I can appreciate what you are going through....I've never been one to drink a lot of liquids...and doing it is a challenge, to say the least. That said, we both know how important it is to get it in...so keep working with tha****ch of yours....a great idea! Take care, Cindy

Another little water hint...if you drin****d water you burn calories cuz your body will work to heat the water.  Ta daaaaaa!!!! BTW, your faucet's dripping!  aaarrrggghhhh....made you look!

Alright girl keep working on tha****er.  Dehydration is no fun.  Water has always been a hard one for me.  I did notice early out though, if I wasn't getting the water I needed then my weight loss was slower.  Keep pushing it.  As you get further out you will be able to take bigger sips and it will help.

Great idea - especially given my clock watching ways the audible reminder would really be a help.  What kind of watch is a running watch?  Would any digital watch do?  Or do I need to look for one that has special features or something.  Let me know where I can get an inexpensive one.  Thanks!

Target sells the Ironman womens watches that do 30 laps (or 30 rotations).  It has an intermitten featuer that you can set to cycles.  You can make it 1/2 so it beeps ever afer a minuite and then after 2 minuite.  It would be great to get if your starting the Couch 2 5K program (running) or drinking binges ;) LOL .... If you get into heavy long distances like 1/2 marathons or full marathons and you coninue to do the ration or run walk method (run for one minuite walk for 2 minuties) or what ever your combo is (Love jeff galloway) then you'll need one that does more laps or cycles..... Totally just dorked out on running watches... sorry Lauren!
