Fredericksburg/Stafford Gastric bypass Group Support Meeting will be held on January (Wednesday) 1/16/08 at  7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m at:

Fredericksburg-Stafford Activity Ctr,  

This meeting is open to anyone who wants to know more about gastric bypass or considering the surgery and want to talk to people who have had it, to people who are scheduled for gastric bypass surgery and to people who have had the surgery. If you had the surgery some time ago and want to get back on track with encouragement – then this meeting is for you! No negativity – no weighing - only positive encouragement!

Okay – holiday season is over! If you did not do too well during it, then this will be a good “get back to basics” meeting!  If you did great during the holidays then this will be a great “keep up the good work and here is how to continue being successful”  meeting!  Stay accountable for your eating actions!

Come join us Wednesday 16th to discuss our main topic of Volumetrics – this is how to feel full on fewer calories! The right food choices will help you control hunger AND eat fewer calories while losing or maintaining weight, keep that weight off and stay healthy.   This is a  “don’t miss”  session where we will see examples of how to do this and make good choices. Additionally I will bring and distribute the 5 day pouch plan that will get your pouch back to feeling tight again if you have gained during the holidays, fallen off the wagon for a while or want to jump start their weight loss. Your pouch will feel as tight as it did just after surgery… I will go through the plan with those that want to use it.

After we discuss these subjects, feel free to bring up any topic of Weight Loss that is concerning you or that you are curious about. If we don’t know the answer we will get it for you!  . Please feel free to bring a friend - everyone welcome!!

***Also, those who attend will get a free copy of the OH Magazine  - Obesity Help (OH) puts out a great magazine every two months and members of OH support groups will get one free!  We hope to see you on Wednesday!!
