Virtual Travel - How far have you gone?

Got into the gym last night.  I admit I did have to push myself because my right knee was killing me all day.  I could have used it as an excuse to stay home but I pushed myself, figured even if I had to go super slow, I was going in.  I wasn't in the mood for my weights so I just did some cardio.  I made it 4 miles on my trip to the beach.  Where are you at?

I've fallen and am stuck to the couch!   I'm having a rough couple of days...managing dehydration and being frustrated about stuff with the WLS ... I call it adjustment... but its zappin' my ***** a bit.

I let my son stay home from school today I woke him up to go to the gym with me and he just mumbled something about a hot choc from Starbucks so I went myself.. Now I'm 2hrs behind you guys so its still early for me... I take care of my aunt who has alzheimers and so i'm going to go feed and get her ready to go back to sleep (that's all she does sleep, pee. and eat) Then i'm walking..

WOW!!! You all are amazing!!  Good job!!  Amanda, no worries, sweetie...you have all week. Ok, so here's some info to cover where we've gone so far.

Featured location:  I’olani Palace, the only Royal Palace in existence in the USA.  During its days as home to the state legislature in the 1960s, I spent time in those halls.  My Dad worked for the legislature at that time & even ran for the House of Representatives for our district…he lost.  At that time the only room still on display as it was during the monarchy was the throne room.  To see some really neat original photos of inside the palace go to  http://www.iolanipalace.org/history/photos.html  Ok, Kat how the heck did you put photos in here?  I found a couple of really nice pics but can't get them in here, so what's the secret?

I am so darned proud of each of you.  Oh, btw, Melinda has opted to step out of the trips for personal reasons.  But that doesn't mean that she & others couldn't go along on our travels & see what we get to see. So, more info tomorrow.  And thanks, Courtney for picking up the ball today...I've been draggin' a bit.

Hugs!
Ann
