I was able to keep my nausea under control so far. The docs were aware of my reactions to the  anethesia and helped ward it off with a wonderful concoction of anti-nausea drugs.   My biggest problem is that they shot up the left pubic bone area with a full leg numbing agent that last 18hrs or so.  While this is helping with the pain it has made me fall within inches on the ground even on crutches. I can't even hobble on crutches to the bathroom without almost falling. I had a scary event around 11pm, the cordless phone decided to die just as I was calling hubby at work (he's on night shift from 7:35pm-7am) because I had just fallen then the phone died.  So I had to scoot on my rear to the living room and couldn't get up to put the phone back on the hook.  I was calling for my boys to come rescue me and thankfully the Lord chose that exact moment for my 8yr old to use the potty and he came to my rescue!  I opted for him to come snuggle me in case I had another mini emergency and he could run to get the phone. Overall my pain is under control I am just freaking out because I don't have good upper arm strength and now my right leg is stiffing up from the pressure of not using my left.  Sorry to whine about all this I know it seems like this was a simple operation but with all the stairs leading up to my house, hubby having to sleep during the day and my needing so much help I am getting overwhelmed.  My best friend who normally helps in times of need has children with confirmed strep throat and pink eye so obviously we agreed to wait for her to come over.  Against my better judgement I have barely drank or ate anything that would cause me to constantly run to the bathroom as I keep falling.   THank you all for the prayers and I promise to stop lurking so much now that the stress of surgery is over. I have grown to love you ladies and gents and look forward to the day when we can all get together again
