Update

I got a job and started today. I am happy even if it is not in my field of work. I am part time for right now and will work into a full time on I hope if not I will get a second part time postion. I am at Food Lion. As far as my dad he does have a couple of ribs fractured. They started to feed him by mouth this week and I got to feed him yesterday when I went to see him. It is a slow progress and if he starts eat more things my mouth than that will be how they feed him instead of the tube althrough he is getting it both ways right now. This is a step in the right direction.  Thank you all for your prayers and would like you to keep them up for a while. Right now I am happy and excited.

Well it sounds like you are moving in the right direction.  Some kind of job is better than no job.  And with it being part time you will hopefully have time to keep looking for the right job for you.  Sounds like your dad is improving.  My prayers continue for you & yours.

You are right about that it will get me out and about a little. I need to on with my life. The weight is starting to come off which it great.

COngrats on the new job, and hang in there the right job will come your way soon. Sorry to here about your dads ribs but glad he is eating and doing some better. Prayers  still coming your way. Hang in there your a tough cookie well maybe not a cookie but how about a apple..... : )

Thank you it will be a nice change of pace. The ribs that he did is on the left side. But he seems to be doing ok with it because they are keeping the pain meds going. You are the right job will come my way.

I am not sure what is wrong with your poor dad but sounds like he is going in the right direction.  COngrats on the new job and dad doing better.   Marion

Just to let you know a little is that he had a stroke back in November and has been in a nursing home and falling out of bed well the last time which was Saturday night he fell out and got 2 displaced rib fractures. The stroke left him wher he could not swallow, talk , and left very little use of his right side. They found out what could be done to get him to swallow and they have been working with him and he is doing pretty good and it felt good to see and be able to feed him and he is learning to do it for himself but having to learn how to do it left handed since he normally would use the right. So it is a long and slow process. Thank you and we will make it and I am starting to lose the weight and getting myself in good condition.
