Good am, How are ya'll doing? Its Friday & the end of the week & the start of the weekend. I'm excited about this day. Why? Because I am coming into it refreshed & excited about another day to make great choices & see the positives in things. I was facing a funk, in a slump, incredibly tired, frustrated etc. Well, God sends us Angels in the form of humans and dang if I don't have some of the kewlest Angels EVER. Ok, so I MIGHT have gotten some phone calls of concern, I MIGHT have gotten some heartfelt emails & I MIGHT have gotten some funny texts to tell me I'm loved, to kick my booootaaaayyyyyy in gear, I might have been stopped in my tracks and MADE to slow down, sit down, chat a bit & feel like I matter. Wait! I DO matter! My Angels matter, we ALL matter! God's precious blessings in this life are so profound & amazing. I guess ya'll can figure I'm in better spirits this am.  Yesterday was interesting. Started off with mini snowflakes then mega snowflakes with the snow covering the grounds. Nora & I got out in it a bit and I took some pics & a video. It turned to sleet/rain later in the pm which made for yuck conditions. I didn't let the weather stop me. I hit up the mall and walked, walked, walked. Loved every second of it! I managed to get quite a bit done yesterday in spite of the bummer mood I was in. Last pm resulted in a couple phone calls which lit a fire under my butt. So THANKS to those of you who lift my spirits when I least expect it. Don't need to name drop because you are not just Angels to me here & off the boards but to countless others & your genorosity & love is wonderful.  On the books for today are errands, chores, reading, a couple meals out & about with friends, grabbing some more items for Kayla's birthday party this weekend, wrapping a few gifts & some great moments with friends & fam. Its going to be a WONDERFUL weekend. I think tomorrow we're hitting up the movies & a few others things as well. Thought I'd share a neat article I read this am. Enjoy your day & weekend. Prayer Pointers 6 ways to squeeze prayer into your busy schedule!  We women are busy! There's work, kids, church commitments, cooking and cleaning, and a myriad other demands on our time each day. So how do you make time to connect with your Creator, the only One who can really help you with all those things on your to-do list? Why not borrow some ideas from six busy TCW readers. Walk with Fido and Your Father I pray while I walk my dog, Diamonds, every morning. I pray for protection for my kids, Brandon and Amanda, as they head off to school, and for my husband, John, as he puts in another day of work to provide for our family. And I thank God for the breathtaking sunrise and an occasional bunny or deer that delight me with God's magnificent creation—reminding me of Who's in charge of my life. —Suzanne L. Barath, Ohio Dial Up and Dial In I used to get frustrated waiting for my computer to fire up and then to connect to the Internet. It seemed to take forever. But now I find this a perfect time to connect with God through prayer—and wouldn't you know it, the time seems too short now! —Lisa Hendry, Colorado Reclaim Random Moments In addition to regular prayer time at home, I also find moments out and about throughout my day to speak to God—walking in my neighborhood, riding my exercise bicycle, driving in my car, sitting in my office before one of the classes I teach, even while cleaning my shower. —Ruth Aipperspach, Texas Book an Appointment I schedule time for prayer in my daily list of things to do. Frequent prayer times of as little as one to five minutes throughout my day can be quite uplifting. The more time I spend praying, the more I desire to pray. —Pansy Crumpler, North Carolina Nap Time = Prayer Time I pray during my son's nap time. I've found it's the most practical time for me in this stage of my life. I've tried early in the morning, but discovered I'm not a morning person. At night, I want to spend time with my husband. Nap time works best. —Julie Potter, Missouri Connect During Your Commute When I'm on the way to work, I turn off the radio and pray about the things preying on my mind. This helps me give all my cares to God before I get caught up in the worries of the day. Also, when I'm in the school drop-off line, I pray with my ten-year-old son about what's happening at school that day. We end the prayer with me placing my hand on his head and blessing him. My son may be too big to kiss good-bye in front of his friends, but he loves receiving this blessing every morning. —Ellen Symonds, Alabama Copyright © 2005 by the author or Christianity Today International/Today's Christian Woman magazine.

Good Morning Beautiful!  A bit of a late start for me as I have the day off & took advantage of the time to sleep in.  Got some chores on the books for the day as I am having some company tomorrow, weather pending.  Hoping to make it to the gym and a few other things outside of the home but not sure what the roads are like around here. Sounds like you are starting the day with a bright new attitude.  You are special and you need to do what is best for you.  Do not be afraid to tell others no if you need to.  Love you lots.
