I need an angel

My surgery is on Wednesday the 23rd and I live in Roanoke. I do not have an angel yet. Would anyone like to help me out? Thanks

Although I am only in my third month after surgery, I would be happy to do angel duty.  I am near Harrisonburg, VA but I could post for you is someone emailed me or called me.  Let me know!

I am somewhat new to OH but had lap band surgery the 7th of January and will help you out however I can.  I don't really have an angel myself or know what all one is supposed to do to be an angel (other than encouraging and keeping up with how you're doing) but I do have a lady who I email with regularly from OH.  Just let me know how I can support you!  : ) Stephanie

Hi Sharon wanted to welcom you to the VA Board and wish you all the best on your surgery on Wed. You will do great and  sounds like you have gotten you a few angels on your side. We are all here for you no matter what your questions maybe, just come on here and ask. We all have  been through it and are at different stages of our journeys and have had different surgery's. You will find alot of knowledge here as well as great people. So God Bless and  please keep us posted... 

Hey! Sharon.  I had my lab band and large hernia repaired done this  past wed the 16th .. am hm recupperating and taking one day at a time... You'll do fine dear and if you dont get an Angel let me know then i will  be more then happy to be yours! I live in Glasgow,about 45 miles from Roanoke........ Keep n touch!  prayers 4 -u!! Bonny

It was my 1st appt today. It went very good. I liked Dr. Lucktong (except he kept looking at his cell phone during our conversation). I'm scared already too. I'm surprised at how fast it is going now. They submitted me for insurance today. Best wishes for tomorrow and I have said a prayer for you. I'm going to pm you with my home phone number. Call me anytime. I would love to keep in touch with you. I plan to attend the support meeting next month.  Remember these next few weeks will be nothing compared to how great life will be afterwards. Thanks Penny, I like Dr Lucktong, he is a little shy and extremely busy since a partner left the office back in October (I think). He does not make alot of eye contact but I felt very safe knowing that my life was in his hands. I will be at the support group meeting as well and I hope to meet you. Take care.
