An opinion...

Hi Joe, no sir you are not dense. Just voicing my (and others who have spoken in their way) concerns regarding some folks feeling intimidated and I wanted to post a blanket statement letting others know that something can be done, they don't have to hide & can be very much a part of this board collectively. I think its important to support everyone not just some folks and that we all have something to give & share.  Hope you are doing wonderfully!

Amen Girl. Kat,  your thought provocking post should be an OH article.  I would add  -- Bullys think that by  acting like a "victim" and blasting someone publically they can divert attention away from underlying truths (that they don't want recognized). Thanks for speaking up.  It isn't easy to speak up knowing you may be the next target.

Thanks Cathy! I'm confident that I'm strong & supported and as for being a target if I have to take even more heat to help others so be it. Taking the attention away from important topics will only happen IF its allowed. The truth always has a way of revealing itself. I've learned that & none of us are perfect. We have to stand up for ourselves & each other postively & productively. I am looking forward to pursuing a few avenues of interest with regard to things like my post yesterday. I appreciate your support. Hugs...........

All I can think of to say to all this is AMEN! I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt & believe that their intentions may be pure but perhaps their approach needs work. Something else to consider...we are all going by the written word only.  No body language, no eye contact, no inflections in the voice, no mannerisms.  Therefore words can be misconstrued or misinterpretted.  Some may not be as articulate as others.  We just have to THINK before we type & consider how what we say may be taken differently than intended.  With that said, I have had some uncomfortable moments here, myself.  I totally get what Kat is speaking of. My message to any "bullies" out there is don't waste our time.  We are serious about our individual journeys & we depend on each other for love, support, comfort, encouragement, etc.  We no longer have time for negative energy.  We are on a mission to a better quality of life than we've had & we've made some serious sacrifices to be where we are now.  So if you are having "issues" or needing attention, look to us to give you POSITIVE attention & positive energy.  If you come here to stir the crap just for the drama, then take a hike!!!  We don't need you & don't want you.  Some may pray for you, but other than that, you are not wanted.  So unless you can play nice with others & clean up your act...and you know who you are...then you don't need to come here any longer. Now, who wants a hug???

Hugs!
Ann

Good pm Ann, In response to your 2nd paragraph; personally speaking, I am not going by word(s) alone. I will agree that there is some disconnect with not being able to see/hear the person replying to us however, tact & respect among other things can go a LONG way.  I appreciate your last paragraph greatly & agree with it whole heartedly. I hope that EVERYONE heeds your words as well. THANKS for your support and always love ya!
