Good am, How are ya'll doing? Wonderful I hope. Yesterday was jam packed with goings ons & I really enjoyed it. I was on a mission to accomplish some smalle goals and get some projects completed. I'm happy to say I surely did just that. In the pm it warmed up quite nicely outside making it more enjoyable for walking/play time. I took some "me" time and went and had a manicure & some waxing done. It was really nice & relaxing. I ran into a great gal while through who like me struggled with addiction and is like me taking it day to day. She & I talked about our situations and it was a really great conversation. I look forward to reading more about her. It's wonderful to be able to share with others, know we're not alone, know that they too are helping others & that we can come out on the other side healthier, happier, more informed and more.  On the books for today is a little bit of laundry left over from yesterday, some reading, walking in nature, finding a couple things I need to purchase & really catching up on some relaxing. I've been pusing myself & taking care of everyone else. Now, I need to slow things down & regroup. I am in the middle of 4 books again (nothing new) & they are all real page turners. I am reading Stephen King's new one Duma Key, Marci Shimoff's Happy For No Reason, Joel Osteen's Become A Better You & Marcos Witt's How to Overcome Fear & Live Your Life to the Fullest. I cannot put these down but at some point do and then pick up another and WOW! I love it! I hope EVERYONE has a GREAT Thursday. Are you smiling? Are you ready to face the face with determination and gusto? Are sippin' your fav cuppa? How bout fav breakfast meal and/or protein? Have you taken some time for yourself to get your day started on the right foot? Shared a kiss? A hug? Have you given things over to the Lord & let Him have the reins??? Give all these a try! Here's a kewl devotional for today!

Do All That is in Your Heart

Today's Scripture

“Then Nathan said to David, Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.” (I Chronicles 17:2).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

What is in your heart today? What are the dreams and desires deep on the inside of you? Maybe you want to start a business, or ministry, or go back to school. Whatever is in your heart, ask the Lord to confirm it to you. God leads us by desires, but we have to first submit our desires to Him. Sometimes we have to allow Him to change our desires, but know that He is always out for your good. It says in the book of Psalms that God gives us the desires of our heart. That means He places desires within us then brings them to pass so that we can live a fulfilled life here on earth. I believe David did this very thing. He was known as a man after God’s own heart. He submitted His heart to the Lord, and then Nathan came along and said, “Yes. Do what is in your heart. God is with you.” Whatever is in your heart today, submit it to the Lord. Trust that He is out for your good and working behind the scenes on your behalf. As you put your faith and trust in Him, He will guide you in the life of victory He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, today I submit my dreams and desire to You. I trust that You are out for my good, and I desire only Your plan for my life. Confirm the plans You have for me so that I can walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Good Morning beautiful!!!  Today is a marvelous day for sure!!!!  Last night was pretty cool.  Made it into the gym and did most of my work out.  Although I am not babying my sore knee anymore, because of my cold I had to take it slow (so I wouldn't get too hot & start coughing) and cut out a few machines that would press on my lungs more & make me cough, so I didn't get in my full work out but I got in most of it.  Felt great.  This Virtual Travel game is really working on making me get in my cardio & pushing me to make it in to the gym and I am loving it.  We ended up going in to sub on some bowling teams last night so I got in some extra movement and had a great time.  Didn't bowl too well but I usually don't.  It is all about having fun though right.  Not much on the books for today as it is my long day and work at both jobs.  Today I woke up feeling markedly better from my cold so that is a good thing.  Enjoy the day!  Love you much!!!!

Hi Bonny, My day has been pretty good really. Was wanting to see the sun & its out. A real mood lifter. Managed to get some errands done, picked up one of the Biggest Loser DVD's & gonna give that a try, also finished up some laundry & some chores. Got a few more things to work on but some meds I took kicked in but late & I've been feeling their effects. Otherwise, its going to be a busy pm with finishing up some chores, getting dinner on the table, studying for testing with the oldest, bedtime stuff & some convos I need to have. Enjoy your visit & time out of the house.
