Nut Appointment Update

Hey Folks - Well last we left off on my journey eating to fast, tv time and nausea was beating my tail.... I met with my Dr's office Nut (1 month follow up) and it turns out I wasn't getting enough protein (not that the two are linked) but now I have a clear goal of what's needed for moi .. I started my multi vitamin, B12 and Calcium, Ive lost a total of (22 in their eyes 30 from my highest in my eyes every pound counts)... Im on the low end of loosing but I hope with excercize (I got released to start next week YAY) and high protein/;liquids we'll get things moving....  She wants me to focus on solids and chicken, meat, fish, cheeses and eggs ... and suppliements/water for my snacks... not bars and stuff so I stay away from getting used to eating btwn meals when I am further out (good philosophy I thought!) ... Then eventually I can replace my supplements with jus****er and viola... that sounds like a reciepe for success.... So what's this all got to do with Tv Time,  Eau de Toilet Time and The humpty dumps?  Well... Im am fighting some kind of cold/sinus infection so the post runny noses... is causing heightened nausea and I noticed that the anti-acid medicine I am on is rockin' my tummy... SO.. they are going to swtich me back to Prevacid...   Lastly - I was able to keep some chicken down last night.. no problem! YAY I see a light at the end of the tunnel... and a pathway to anyplace elese BUT THE bathroom .... Sounds like you got some great advice there.  I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers.  If you haven't been getting in enough protein then that is probably why you are losing slower.  Keep up the great work!!!!

Glad to know it was nothing serious, not too serious anyway. Can be fixed without to much ado. More protein. More water. More exercise. It's what everyone says. The great fixall. Hope it works for you.I have to keep saying it over and over so I get used to it for a not so later date, yehaa! Hope that chicken stays down!Best Wishes Pam

It sounds lke your nutritionist appt went very good!  And I ompletely understand counting every last pound!  :) Good luck getting over the sniffles fast!
