The best thing you can do is track everything you put in your mouth at Fitday.com. A lot of folks use it. Some items you have to put in yourself. Are you getting all your water in? Are you excersising? Remember muscle mass weighs more. So if you are building muscle, you might want to try to stick to aerobic excersise. The next thing to do. Call your Nut. Maybe they can help see what kind of cls your taking in and working off. Take it easy. Don't freak out just yet. We can get this undedr control. YOU CAN GET THIS UNDER CONTROL!!!!! That was not yelling, just letting you know I know you can do this. If you need just to talk and vent, PM me and I will give you m y phone number. Plz relax and don't go to the fridge cuz your upset. I know I still have food issues when I get down. It will be ok.

Are we talking a big gain here or a little gain?  You are early out so if you are gaining like 1 - 2 lbs, it may be part of the plan.  Sometimes we may gain a couple and then dash back down again.  Another question, are you following your eating schedule, getting in your water, protein & exercise.  If you are snacking that may be part of the problem.  Talk to your nutritionist or surgeon & see what is going on.  We are here for you.

I'm guessing we arre talking more serious stuff here than trimming yuor nails and spitting alot??

I recently put on 9 pounds that just seemed out of nowhere but I think is because I was sampling lots of new stuff at the WLS Conf in Jan and ate lunch and dinner and snacked later in the evenig more than usual that weekend and few dayas thereafter.  BAM 9 pounds!

So I went back to basics; protein smoothies, protein bars, 6-8 bottle waters a day to keep flushed, lean white meat (shrimp & scallops mostly), reduced the munchy snacks and/or variety of food at meals,...just back to post-op WLS basics.  6 pounds have dropped off in a week tomorrow.

I just really have to watch eating for comfort or unwinding, and grazing while at work at my desk.

Dealing with stress as the stress it is and not with food is huge.  Talking with others and doing stuff is superior to eating our way through it.  You got a bunch going on if I remeber right from recent posts.  Don't beat yourself, up just move forward.  Finding fault isn't as productive as finding the resolution.

The scales said almost 10 pounds....but I've dropped almost 6 now...I'm thinking it was water weight....but it is still scary. Thank you all for your support. I'm going to start walking and watching what I eat again... Thanks again!

I have hit a couple of times where I spiked up on my way down. I think it's normal. Could be your body adjusting. Could be water weight. Could be your digestive tract holding back on clearing out the pipes (to put it gently). Could be normal issues relating to your female cycles and the changes in your body mass (there have been a couple of recent threads on female issues--and I am in NO way an expert on things female; I am barely able to stay married LOL). The good news is that you are dropping those pounds again. Don't get discouraged!
