OT: Busch Gardens Awesome Deal ends 1-31-08

Hey y'all.  I found this awesome deal at the BG website. Here is the direct link: http://www.buschgardens.com/bgw/special_offers_home.aspx Basically you can buy any type of pass now and not pay until March 1st, no interest incurred or anything!  I was able to get 5 season passes to both BG & Water Country for only $562.30!! Now I know that seems like a lot but for those of us with kiddos (3 here) that are old enough to enjoy the majority of both parks' rides it is money well spent for the summer.  Remember that with the season passes you get free general parking at both parks. Don't forget that they are also doing the Virginia Fun Cards again this year.  For the price of one daily admission ( $56.95) you get to come back as often as ya want until September. Thanks for plugging BGE. There are a lot of good concerts coming up this year. A good summer concert series.  There are several good deals out there and don't forget with the season pass you get the 10% discount on food and merchandise. Water Country has a new area opening up this year. Looks like a good time especially for the kids. If anyone is looking for a spring/summer/fall job to get out of the house, BG and WCUSA are hiring. Oh BTW.. I work in the HR office in the employment section.  Just ask for Bill. And it's a good place to walk for exercise.

I worked at BG when I was 16.  I can't wait to see the new area of Water Country.  Hopefully we won't have too many scorching hot days this summer. 

Chris and I have been buying the Platnum passes using easy pay for the last few seasons. When you get Plat passes it isnt only Water Country but also the BG in Tampa and ALL anhieser theme parks nations wide including Sea World,plus the new sea world water park just opening this spring. With the easy pay option you pay monthly and your passes are good for TWO YEARS! We really enjoy that because we try to vacation as much as possible and it saves $! Plus you get the biggest percentage of discounts and FREE perferred parking, not just the regular!!! Just an fyi for those interested. We pay about $20.00 a month! Brandi~

We usually do the fun cards but decided to do the passes this year since the boys can ride some of the coasters and my daughter just LOVES all the rides.  I have no plans of traveling to the other parks any time soon so I just went with the silver passes. We'll have to try going together at least one time this summer, I think the kids would have a blast together.  I need to ask my knee surgeon when it will be ok for me to get on the rides.  I'm a coaster freak and cannot wait since this year I will be able to fit into the seats better!

I know I still need to go through my clothes too...Im such a lazy butt! Dont do the rollercoasters < But I love the stuff that spins!!!! Brandi~ I love passholder weekend, which is usaually a week before it opens to the public. Last year when we went it was so cold it was actually snowing and they couldnt run the coaster's... Fall time/hallowscream time is the best!!! Hot chocolate and cotton candy used to be my thing...I guess this time I will have to bring me some Hot protein shake huh...lol
