Let's learn a little about everyone: 1. I speak fluent French. I spent my junior year of college in Paris and studied philosophy in French. Meaning that I couldn't get a job in two languages! 2. My favorite city in the world is Austin, Texas where I used to live. If anyone ever wants to check out The Live Music Capital of the World, let me know. I'm your tour guide!

Oooohhhh, I love this kind of stuff! 1. I don't know how to cook, but love to watch cooking shows. I'm a fan of most Food Network series (don'****ch much television other than Food Network and HGTV) and love to watch chefs prepare and enjoy food. However, my cooking skills are limited to the toaster oven and microwave and even then, I do best with nothing more complicated than a frozen meal. 2. I can track down most songs that I hear, without knowing the name or artist. My all time best detective work was when I heard the live version of "Lean on  Me" while I was taking a break at a water park in Georgia. I was captivated by the song, wrote down a few of the phrases that I heard (did not realize what song it was at the time) and... six months later I found it online. Yes, iTunes and I are very good friends!

This is fun... 1.   I am originally from Scotland and moved here 12 years ago. Before that, I travelled a lot for work and spent most of a year in Japan. Fascinating country and I can speak a little Japanese now too. It was for work so I learned about Japanese business too. I am still friends with some people I worked with in Japan and we write regularly.   At the time it was unusual for a female to work with some of the Japanese business people and they took a while to get used to it....... Three years ago one of them came to stay with me with his family for two weeks while on a family vacation.... it was fun to show him America instead of the UK lol! 2.  For those of you who don't know me well - I was told I could never have children after three miscarriages when I was in my early 20's. Imagine my surprise when at the age of 46 I became pregnant with my one and only son. So now I am 51 next month with a 4 year old! I am not sure if he will keep me young or prematurely age me lol!! NEXT!.............................

1.   I have lived overseas most of my life, since 6 mos. of age:  South America, Europe, The Middle East, The Far East...even graduated from high school in England.  Not being able to get the moving out of my system, I married a Marine and then got to move and see a huge part of this great country! 2.  We have had several foreign exchange students come to live with us over the years, so now we have "kids all over the world!"!  Japan, Germany, France and Kyrgyzstan...so much fun because when traveling to any of those places, we always have a place to stay!  Cindy

Corinne,  I answered an ad about a part time transcriptionist for another company and she called me in for a typing test.  I had some knowledge of medical terminology from a previous job but that was it.  No formal training.  She basically took me under her wing and taught me enough to get started.  I worked for her for about a year and then ventured out on my own and self-taught me the rest.   It is a really good field to get into if you can.

1. I was a freshman on the varsity swim team in high school. I even lettered my freshman year. In my high school only one other person lettered in a varsity sport their freshman year. That record held for about 5 years. WOOHOO!!!! 2. I want to live in San Fransisco before I die. I love the weather and atmosphere of San Fran. I was also born and raised in Cali. I guess it will always be in my blood.
