Marion, not sure about the vitamin I take the Women's One a Day multi w/ iron, plus I take 1000 mcg  (1 tablet a day) of Biotin and use  shampoo w/ Biotin in it. I got the pill @ Walmart the shampoo i purchased through Puritans Pride, but if Im not mistaken I was told Walmart has some as well. I have my License I think Ill go to Sally's or Davidson's and check as well if they sell a product because I have the same problem after  2 yrs out but I also havent been getting in all the vitamins I need to either. Those are a few Im sure there will be others posted. Good Luck...

Protein, Protein, Protein -- and then MORE protein.  Hair loss is a given.  Surgery is a huge shock to your system.  But you CAN battle the effects with adequate protein. Ample --

Hi, Marion: I have been taking Biotin daily (got it at GNC) and my stylist has me using Nioxin (shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment).  I am getting in as much protein as I can -- I have heard that makes a difference with hair loss. I am seeing hair fall out, and though I don't like it, I feel like I am doing everything I can to keep it to a minimum.  Thankfully, my stylist has had clients who have had WLS and she is great about monitoring it for me and making sure I am doing whatever I can from that perspective too! Good am Marion, Looks like you got great answers as mine are the same! You might check with your doc to inquire about what they suggest as well. I've just had my 5 year check up & things have changed a bit (not in this particular case mind you) with regard to some vits & such. Hope you find what works best for you! All best & have a great Thursday!
