Allright another Dr. Mann/ Dr. Catania patient! If you can't tell I am a big..OK well thinner...fan of these docs and their staff.  I know how the wait can be. What I suggest to everyone is to learn all you can and begin to change behaviors before your surgery. I promise you, doing so makes post op soooooo much easier.  Every now and again we try to get together in the area. Yes we meet at a restaurant but it is hard to come up with alternate places to get together. (And you really  need protein anyhow!) Please join us when you can--the more the merrier!

Thanks for all the well wishes.  It is so encouraging to read all the success stories.  Also to read the struggles so we can all learn from them and become healthier people.  I would love to join a get together on the Peninsula sometime.  I am kind of shy but I am sure you all would make any newcomer feel welcome.  Thanks again for all the support and information.  This board is so informative.  Have a great weekend!  Susan
