Does anyone have a playstation 2?

My husband is a big kid and I told him we could get a playstation 3 with our tax money.  Well, someone had told me about this game (actually for ps2, but should work on ps3) called Kinetic.  It comes with this camera and it's an exercise game and you can actually see yourself on the tv!  My sister in law just got it and she won't shut up about it, so I just ordered it online yesterday.  I can't wait to try it!  In the game you have to dodge fire and punch stuff and kick stuff.  It seems like a cook way to exercise and it seems like a blast!  Somehow the camera measures how fast you punch and kick and it keeps track of how you do each time and tells you when you beat your best scores and such.  I'll have to update you guys once it comes in the mail and I've tried it out!  Has anyone tried this game?

Hubby has ps2 but he is addicted to the MLB games  He's a sports nut.

My son has a Nintendo Wii. You really have to move with this system and sometimes it is a workout. For example, if it is a baseball game, you use the controller like it is a bat. If it is a running game, the controllers are in both hands and you're moving your arms real fast to make the person run. I like it because the kids are not just sitting while playing, there is an exercise part to it. And yes, sometimes I play with them. Fun and a little exercise. Hope you like your new game.

I bought my son a Nintendo Wii for Christmas too and I do agree that you definitely exert yourself.  Of course, some of it is because I am pre-surgery and have some lung and heart problems, which cause shortness of breath but with the different games you definitely do get a work out!!  He also has the ps2 but I haven't heard of it but maybe I should check it out for my son!
