Ok skinny a**....time to eat up - haha.  I KNOW you never thought that you would hear those words.  Sorry to hear that this is happening to you, but you are strong and will get through it. Grab your good carbs, stay away from the garbage and see what can be done about your meds....you know the drill.... Good luck on your biopsy - keep me posted.  I've got my fingers crossed for good results!

Thank you, Jill!  I tried a regular Carnation Instant Breakfast today, and I.................DUMPED!  I think I'll try mixing half regular and half NSA tomorrow. I'm afraid that the meds are permanent.  You have no idea how many they went through to find something that I didn't react badly to and that actually helped with the pain. Take care!

Oh JoAnn that is not the best news! I am sorry for the pain you suffer every day . I can never imagine going through what you do with so little complaining   - you are amazing! I can never imagine the words "you need to gain weight" either lol!! I hd some news today too - I am now not having the thigh lift on Monday as my iron is too low - they will do the implants and hernia/mesh repair to my stomach and now they are going to lipo my thighs instead and do the thigh lift at a later date when my iron levels increase... I am bummed as I had hoped this was my last surgery but....... looks like one more after this one.... Good luck with your other tests - hope they all turn out to be nothing! Jackie

Oh, Jackie, I know just how disappointed you must be!  But just know that Dr. Krieger knows best and would never do anything that would put you in danger.  Best of luck on Monday!  I'm slightly jealous of your and others' plastics, since I don't think I'll ever have any of my own.  However, I think I've had enough surgery for one person! I'll be thinking of you on Monday, girlie!!

Thanks Joann, I am pretty bummed but I know he is thinking of my healing and blood loss and I am really grateful that I have a surgeon who cares...... I think if I had the kind of surgeries you have had I would not be trying for any more.... Will post when I feel up to it next week - thanks for your good thoughts! Jackie

Hey, Corinn!  It's good to see your lovely face!  I had a biopsy like this one a couple of years ago, and it was NO fun!  (I guess Tom and I won't be "celebrating" Valentine's Day!)  The boobie smash (sounds like a weird dance!) won't hurt cause all there is there is skin!! Take care, sweetie, and I love you too!!

Good am JoAnn, I am sorry to hear your check up wasn't the best. However, I would wait to see what the blood work shows. It might indicate some things there that can help decide which course of action to take with the need to gain weight. Its a blessing to finally have found meds to alleviate your spinal pain. 3 months seems so long but really it will pass quickly. I'm not sure what type of protein you get in now but I saw your reply about trying the Carnation Instant Breakfast. Is it the sugar free version? I would like to suggest something I learned early on about CIB's. Trying mixing one packet of CIB with 1/3 cup of non fat dry milk mixed with skim milk. Its actually not bad tasting & its added protein. In addition, I don't know if you care for AchievOne's but they are a really good source drink wise.  I surely hope you find things that work for you.  Best wishes & lots of prayers for the biopsy/colposcopy on Thursday. I can definitely sympathize with you on that. Being proactive about our health is the BEST chance we have to fighting anything and everything that comes our way. You are not whining you are sharing your struggle which teaches others & arms us with knowledge which is power. So, THANK YOU! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

JoAnn my dear friend,  Sending extra prayers for you for the culposcopy and biopsy.  I would try peanut butter, add some good fats like nuts, olive oil, regular salad dressings. hugs & love
