HAPPY HALF WAY DAY YA'LL!

Good am all, How are ya'll doing? Its been raining here for the better part of yesterday through this am. I enjoy it quite a bit even if it does make for messy walking. I took the day off yesterday (ok not entirely true) for the most part to try and combat this cold. I THINK I'm making progress. I managed to get my rear in gear and get out of the house for a bit to run a couple of errands. I'm glad I did because I cannot stand to be sick and couped up in the house. Anyhow, the fresh air did some good, then the rain came & I managed to get some things done EARLY for a change last pm. I was in bed pretty early (to me) and up at 5 am. Sleep was a bit better but I get to smiling about this now ....I KNOW others have wrestled with the getting comfy then one side of your nose clogs up and then you unclog it only to have the other do it. LOL! Well, I did that for a while and finally got some rest.  Its Wednesday, the half way mark of the week. How are we doing? Everyone hanging in here? Looks like we in for more rain today so (thankfully) I am going to be taking it easy again today. Still gonna get some things done around the house but now I have extra motivation since I cannot really get outside. I'm sniffly but eating my bowl of oatmeal slowly for breakfast. Sure wish I could taste it but just that its warm and soothing is working out well. Not too much going on today.  Here's wishing each and every one of you the BEST day you can have. I hope & pray that everyone is safe in the weather and accomplishes what you set out to. I'm thankful & grateful for ya'll and love to come & learn new tips & tricks & about ya'll. Thanks for sharing your stories & such. They are truly inspiring and helpful. All best for this Wednesday..... Off to blow my nose ......AGAIN

Hi Kat, It has been an exceptionally busy week for me at work and I am gearing up for surgery on Monday - even though my inner thigh lift is now not going to be done due to my low iron count - he is still going to lipo my inner thighs...and do my implants and repair my herniated stomach......... so one more surgery after this one to go!! The weather here yesterday was awful with the ice storm and today it is wet but not as cold.... Wish my days could get lighter right now!! So busy! Take care Jackie

Hey Beautiful! I know ALL about the dang low iron levels. I had been fighting and fighting to get mine up for more than TWO years & FINALLY my surgery last year has helped me succeed in getting my levels back up & things are looking spiffy! YEAH! So, I hope & pray yours begin coming up and although you are disappointed right now everything happens for a reason & when its meant to happen it will. Count your blessings that you have such a thorough and caring doc! No ice here just lots of overcast & rain. Hopefully you'll find some slow down time.  Hugs.............

Good Morning Beautiful!!!!!  Glad to hear you are trying to take care of yourself.  Hope that you are feeling better soon.  Mucinex (my fav. cough medicine) now has a nasal decongestant spray, I haven't tried it yet but if it works as good as the cough stuff then it would be great.  Maybe you should pick some up to try it. I am doing pretty well.  Not sleeping great but getting by.  Was too exhausted last night to make it to the gym but have plans to get there tonight if the weather isn't bad.  I woke up to ice this a.m and they are calling for some more with some snow on top this evening.  I ended up staying in last night & reading a book then watching the last part of Biggest Loser.  It was nice to just relax for awhile.  Hope you all have a wonderful day & please stay safe in this nasty weather.

Hey Beautiful! Ok, ok I have just taken some Mucinex. Heck I am willing to try it and see. I am NOT a pill gal with the exception of vits & one other med. My sleep was better last pm but not as great as I'd like. So, working on that. Ugh I am hearing from friends & fam up that way about all the crazy ice & accidents & school closings. PLEASE be careful. Love ya!

Good am all, It's frozen in up here on the mountain, BF couldn't make it to work this morning, that's kind of a nice surprise. I get to spend an unexpected day with him, always welcome. I'm sorry you are still fighting that cold,Kat, hope you get better with the Mucinex.Courntney, you may want to see your doctor if you continue to have trouble sleeping, I take ambien, and it works like a charm, no groggies in the am,just a suggestion.Hope everyone has a safe a pleasant day, Pam

Good pm Pam, I hear the same from many fam & friends bout all the ice & school closings & such. Hopefully everyone is staying safe & warm. Nice that ya'll got in some couple time together. I'm doing a bit better. Mucinex is kicking the Sick Fairy's BUTT! (So far lol!)
