Eating out....
I love to cook but there are days I don't have time or I just simply don't feel like it. So how do you sensibly while eating out? It's not easy and I DO NOT recommend this as daily eating but here are some of the lowest fat things I've found. (No, I don't eat all of these at the same time...lol)

Fast-Food Tips
- Choose low-fat foods and omit things that you can do without. Example: croutons, butter, bread, high fat dressings.
- Search the menu for fresh fruit selections. Many restaurants have fruit options.
- Avoid french fries and deep fried foods. Most times they are loaded with fat.
- Choose water or diet soda for a drink.
- Avoid over-eating when eating ou****ch your portion sizes and don't supersize anything. (You can always eat light at a restaurant and grab some fruit, veggies, or a low-fat snack at home.)
- Research and plan out your meals before you have them. Find out what your favorite foods have in them. Make your menu selection before you go.
- Enjoy your meal with your family or friend. Talking while sharing a meal will help you eat slower and fill faster. You can always cut things in half and share.
If you enjoy eating out alot and you find yourself in love with some food at a certain place, have one meal a week that you don't count your fat but you watch your portions. If you see you're not losing weight, reduce your portion size on your cheat meal. If you're still gaining or not losing, be sure you're not eating out too much or eating the wrong things. A food journal is an excellent tool for you to review and make changes so you don't get into a "rut".
