What is YOUR Success Moment of the Week???

Hi Everyone...... Sometimes we get busy, or heck...just shy, and do share our successes.  Let's take today to share and to congrat someone on their success....... What is YOUR success moment for the week?  It does not have to be weightloss related...it can be ANYTHING! To get us started...here's mine: In the short amount of time I have been going to the dance studio, I have changed SO much.  I walk taller, sit straighter, even drive with my shoulders back and abs tucked in like they are suppose to be.   So...last night, I was at the dance studio and had just finished up a class and was chatting with the personal trainer and one of the instructors.  We got on the subject of my arms - my strength has improved quite a bit already and they told me that my arms are becoming SO toned that they were discussing it before class when they saw me practicing. And they told me that my form and moves are really improving (cool) and I have become more confident (double cool). Ok....so what's yours???? (And make sure that you comment on at least one person's success).

Ok ya'll...what gives?  This dear lady posted this 10 hours ago & I'm the FIRST to respond?  Hmmm....lol. Miss Jill...super to hear that you are looking hot & that others are noticing.  I think that is sooooo cool & it must have been such a boost to hear them say so to you.  Be proud, sweets!  BTW, what KIND of dance are you doing? My succes story for the week?  I guess that would have to be getting on the scale & seeing myself only 5 lbs from onederland.  It doesn't look like I'm gonna get below the 200 mark THIS week, but I have confidence that it's just around the corner.  But boy, oh boy, believe me...I won't have to post it here...ya'll will here my squeals of joy all over Virginia! LOL!!! Ok, time for somebody else to step up.  Who's next?

Hugs!
Ann

Hey Thanks!!!!

As several already know....I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag....I have been doing erotic/pole dancing.  It's been SO much fun...great for the body and a DEFINATE confidence booster.  I completed the beginner's class and loved it so much that I have moved into the advanced class.  Yes...I wear the 5" heels, short skirts and booty shorts. But, since starting, I have definately become more toned as I have been taking the pole classes and learning to spin, and climb the pole (ok...along with walking around the pole, grindings and doing a back bend).  My flexability has DEFINATELY improved and as a result...so has my running.  This has been a perfect compliment to my running.....And of course....hubby likes it, too.... Your success for the week is AWESOME!!!  I am SO proud of you..You have such a positive attitude - already planning on being in Onderland next week - that's GREAT!  I love the fact that you did not beat yourself up this week over it.  That's GREAT!

Often times, we do and it's really not fair to ourselves, because we cannot control it.  So...in my book....YOU ROCK!!!!

Oh you little hootchie, you!!  I LOVE IT!!!  So now you have to put up a photo of you in your 5" heels & hootchie outfit swingin' on that pole...lol!  You can be our pin-up girl!  Move over Betty Grable!! I have been steeped in dance most of my life so I can appreciate the tremendous amount of work & exercise that goes into what you are doing.  Most people think it's easy to dance, but dancers are just as much athletes as sports athletes, if not more so.  Lately I've had visions of sugar plum faeries dancing in my head again, after all these years.  I haven't put on a pair of pointes since I was 16!!  Probably break my neck, but I can't help wondering if I could do it again?  Maybe we'll see once I've reached my goal weight.  In the meantime though I can certainly reacquaint myself with my polynesian dancing...also very erotic...lol.  So once again, JIlly-dilly, you are inspirational.  Now...where did I put that pareo??? Positive attitude?  Oh yeah....got to have that.  Who knows how many more years I have on this earth so I don't wanna waste a single moment on negative energy.  And you're absolutely right...it's NOT fair to ourselves.   I think about all the courage it took me to pursue & jump through all the necessary hoops to obtain this lovely tool.  So what do I have to be negative about?   Ok, so I didn't reach onederland this week...I may not reach it next week either...but I WILL eventually.  It's inevitable.  That's why I feel bad for those that say, "Oh I've only lost 30 lbs...or 10 lbs...or whatever".  ONLY?  ONLY doesn't exist in my vocabulary anymore.  So I thank you for noticing my positive attitude & I hope it's catching.  Much more pleasant than catching a cold, that's for sure...lol. You keep up the good work, Jill....and remeber...WE WANT PICTURES!!!!  LOL

Hugs!

Ok...let me think about the pics - hehe.  But...I just LOVE the way that I feel - very empowered!  Something about strapping on those 5" heels - haha.  And hey...gotta pay for those plastics SOMEHOW!  haha! You should definately look into dancing again...especially if it was something that you enjoyed.  It's great exercise, and heck...who wants to do something that they dislike...right???YOU ROCK!
