PUPPY LOVE

Hi Friends... Slippery Friday here in Richmond - at least where I am in Short Pump. I back up to the Goochland County line, so we tend to get it a bit worse than most of our area. The BIG news at my house today isn'tthe weather or the school delays - it's a BIG DAY that my kids have been waiting for for years. I have broken down and we are getting our puppy today!!! We picked her out last week, but had to wait til she was 8 weeks old to bring her home. "MILEY" is a white labradoodle puppy with an adorable brown nose...We are all prepared and the kids are bouncing off the walls with excitement! Will keep you posted on our new family member. Other than that, I have been MIA from the boards since the Sock Hop - partly because my e-mail has been acting so crazy - I think it's finally fixed. BUT for a bot "I" was sending - shall we say - suggestive spam e-mails to thaousands of people - while I was sleeping! Gotta love computer bugs - UGH! The funniest though was people taking time to "respond" to the virus e-mails! Just DELETE people! LOL. I hope it didnt go to anyone I actually KNOW or I'd be mortified...lol. Oh - and work has also had me in a tizzy with travelling and covering for one of my co-workers that was let go almost 2 months ago and still has not been replaced. Blah. At least the days fly by! Oh- i even updated my profile - take a peek if you have the chance - some fun "disco" pics on it from the closing event of one of the conventions I was at - There were over 2,200 people there and I was second in teh costume contest! HAHA! have a puppy-tastic weekend everyone :)

David, I know you and the family will have lots of fun with the puppy. Did they tell you that one day it would turn in to a dog? They don't always fully disclose that - kinda like at the hospital nursery when they give you your baby. BTW, I am bummed that apparently you didn't mean everything you said to me in that e-mail you now claim to be spam. lol Joe

I know those kids are really excited .. Way to go there Dad !!  You must send me pics .  I am stuck up here in a hotel today . Stayed close to work . All the schools are closed . I am abot ready to make it out to the car to start it so I can de-ice .  We really need to talk soon. I miss you bud .. I really do . Can we move this back to Jan 18th ?  Love ya .. take care .. You gotta post pics or send me some of the puppy! I like the name too--guess your kids watch Hannah Montana.  Be safe in your travels. We have just rain down here today. Thank goodness!

wow i didn't get that suggestive e mail. i feel left out. good luck with the puppy. can't wait to see you again. i agree with nat, turn back to jan 18. i had a blast.
