Got my insurance denial on the hernia dn abdominalplatsy thing. Looks like it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. But it was fun to worry about,. thanks for all the encouragement to pursue it. Guess the compression shorts are just gonna have to keep doing the job.

Sorry to hear that Joe! Maybe some more research and a resubmittal is in order. Those hernias can be dangerous. Check into the possibility of the hernia repair & self pay on the extra for the plastics?

Joe so sorry to here this but like said dont give up just yet keep up the fight an do a lil more research around and see what you come up w/ your in my prayers, you deserve what you want. So dont give up....

That really sucks Joe but don't give up. You need to focus on the medical. You also need to get a doctor on your side. See if you can make another visit and tell them how the hernia is bothering you. If you have any back pain at all, make a big deal of that since the extra skin on your abdomen along with the hernia is really pulling on your back. If you have to go to the doctor several times to document this, then it is certainly worth it. Also, if you get the hernia approved and you are already under, just work on a payment plan for the doctor to do the plastics at the same time. Sure hope it works out for you. You look great and after all this hard work, who needs to worry about compression shorts?? This would be the icing on your cake. I will keep on praying it works out for you. Crystal

Do you mind me asking who was going to do your surgery ? And what insurance company . Dr Hutcher did mine .. and it went through with no delay . He told them it was medically necessary . Joe don't give up at the first attempt! Try and find out why you were turned now so you can go back with more information..... It may be that you do not have a history of rashes etc so you can go ahead and start getting that documented for your next attempt - they do rely on you NOT to keep appealing.... Also hernias are considered medicacal necessities so if you could get your surgeon to send out the medical necessity for that you may be able to negotiate the plastic surgery with your surgeon to a much lower cost as they are already in there anyway. Don't give up yet Joe - you can still fight this! Jackie
