OT: Are there any knitters out there???

Heyyyyy, that's right...I forgot that you sew.  Hmmm.  I just happen to need a new ball gown for the Blue & Gray Ball coming up in May.  Maybe I should hire you to make it for me?  Let's see, the bodice will need stays to make it corset-like with either hook & eye tape or grommets for lacing up the back, the skirt would be about 6 to 8 yards, pleated not gathers at the waistband with hooks for the bodice to attach so I don't show any belly skin.  Must fit over a 6-band hoop.  Little cap sleepves off the shoulder & cut low enough to show off the "girls".  Up for the challenge?  I'm thinking a lovely cream & gold brocade.  Or maybe watermark satin in purple for the skirt with black velvet for bodice.  Hmmm...can't decide. try hershners.com  I get various kits and stitching items from them.  :) Also, that dress sounds like it would be very beautiful!  Pics please when you have it finished and you are modeling it!  :)
