Thank you for sharing such a personal story. I think that many of us see part of ourselves in your story as well.  Other than the physical things that contribute to weight gain,  I think the emotional ones are the biggest to overcome.  I think I have been hiding from my true potential because of things that happened when I was young.  It seemed like everything was meant to stay hidden, and it it didn't, there was heck to pay.  I've hid under the fat, but I'm freeing myself daily.
