Monthly Goal - Check In

How are we doing with our monthly goals this month?  Are you having a hard time with them?  Are you plugging along and meeting them? Me?  I'm plugging along and doing fine.  My goal was to do something new...which everyone knows that I have been doing (dance class) and am totally enjoying it.  In fact...I recently signed up for the advanced class - which starts right after I finish my current Intermediate class.  So...I'm already planning ahead. My reward for trying it and sticking with it was 2 pair of boots, and some shorty schoolgirl-type skirts to wear to class. So...what about you?   ***We are getting close to the end of February - time to start thinking about your March goals.  It should NOT be weight related.  It can be financial, exercise, water, carbs, protein, vitamins, mind/spirit, taking a class, finishing a class....whatever.  Establish the goal...establish a non-food reward....write them down...be accountable......meet the goal....receive the reward. It's THAT easy!!!!!

Well I will be the first to step up to the plate and admit I have not been accountable at all this month :( I said I got this darn bile fixed and was gonna do a mile a day. Well I havent and went to the Dr. today and it wasnt a good visit so. Jill thank you for these post and Im not gonna look back on the month of Feb. as being a bad month Im only going to move forward and look at March as being my new begining and you as my motivater every morning to get my BUTT up and doing what I need to do EVERYDAY and be  accounable for ME during the month of March I will commit to you  everyday and I will report daily one mile on this darn bike and I expect you to be on me everyday (please) I dont care what it takes I have 12 hours in a full day to take 15mins out to get on that thing an ride so thats my commitment so stay on me please I need this from myself and you andMarch is gonna be tough for me w/ starting class so beat me until I do it.... : )

Ya know...that's the nice thing about goals...if you don't meet it, it's ok.  Just learn from it and move on.  Maybe the goal was too challenging.  Maybe you weren't in the right mindset.

It's ok..... So...now you know what you need to fix to meet your goal next month. Hope you are feeling ok......

You know Jill it wasnt to challenging and no it wasnt that I wasnt in the right mindset because I was  all excited I had gotten this darn thing fixed, its just that I like some others need to weed my garden an put me #1 and take care of me and STOP putting others before myself and Im gonna do it in March and I hope w/ yours and the others help from her to achieve my goal one mile a day if not more and I will post to your thread daily to let you know Ive done it. To say Im accountable I have to start taking care of ME for Me because Ive come to grip that if I dont well then that a whole different thread. Hugs to you for what you do here and dont stop doing it. Ill need your motivation an the swift kick everyday : )

Been thinking bout this post for the better part of the day. Haven't really made public goals because I've been working on some things privately but with March almost here I've got a few I'll put so I can see my progress.  1) Focusing weeding folks/situations I know are not healthy for me and even though I keep trying to find reasons to continue them I know its not working out. 2) Getting better with prioritizing as I tend to LIKE to stay busy but at the same time I need to remember there HAS to be down time before *I* get taken down. Ok, we shall see!
