Hi Ya'll!!!

Hey Pam! Im holding steady at 42 pound lost. However, I will say things are shifting around and although the scale isn't budging, I'm trying to remind myself that I have lost 42 pounds in almost 3 months. My highest weight loss was 52 pounds and that took me 11 months... so .. trying to focus on changing my eating habits, focusing on water and protein and getting more active. :)

My breakfast, lunch and snacks are the same every day. Dinner I try new things and am a bit more adventurous. Mainly because I'm home and close to the toi-dee if needed. I start my day with 16oz of Lactaid milk as a source of protein I actually LIKE the taste of. Breakfast - Unsweetened Applesauce (I love the Motts Green Apple version available at Walmart) Lunch - Lunchmeat - Turkey or Ham, and Cheese - Usually Cheddar Cubes. I have progressed to a mini-mini sandwich (half slice of grain bread cut in half for a quarter sandwich with the lunchmeat and a slice of cheese variation - oh and I super toast the bread) that I do maybe one or twice a week. Protein Shake Snack - Half an apple peeled or an organic fruit strip (Target - be careful! there are sugar added or only natural sugar versions) Evening - I try and always do a meat and veggies side. I'm finding that ham is easy going down, pork okay, turkey okay, but chicken I have problems with. Then again, I haven't been focusing on the darker moister parts of the chicken. I can't get out of my love of white meat only mentality... sigh... Snack/Juice - an orange if I want something moist to end the day. My favorite foods/snacks are fruit because they are both moist and filling, since the whole not drinking and eating thing nearly kills me, but I follow religiously. I'm debating adding another protein shake to see if it maximizes my results. I see people here on the boards take in WAY more than I do, even though I am meeting my doctors requirements of 50g and request of 60g. ?? hmmm... Oh and I seem not to be doing eggs very well anymore. Shame...that was one of my favorites and it is a source of protein. Bummer. YOU? What kinds of things are you having luck with or staying away from?
