Daily Challenge - Try Ballroom Dancing
Ok....today's challenge from Kashi.com is to try ballroom dancing. As we already know, dancing is a GREAT way to workout and just have fun. Some of us are dabbling in various forms of dancing to tone and get in some cardio with out the impact of weight lifting and running/walking.
Plus...it's just so dang fun!
Dancing is not only a great workout, but it's inexpensive. You don't have to take a class to enjoy it. Just turn on your radio and get moving. If you are bound to a wheel chair, or unable to move around, just turn on the music and lift your feet gently off of the floor, move your arms gently to the music, whatever you can comfortably do to move. If you are more able to move, but still carry quite a bit of weight, just stand up and move your hips from side to side, move your arms and hands. In your house, who cares what you look like, right??? Just do the best that you can.
