Putting Into Perspective.......

It's funny, isn't it????  I said the same thing...what the HECK!  But...that pound of fat is on my right thigh - haha.  I just KNOW it - haha.

Thanks for the kind words.  I have come to understand that it will be a constant battle - me and my weight.  BUT...I'm reaching the poit where I really cannot look at the scale anymore and need to focus on percentage of body fat.  Especially if I am going to continue to build more muscle. So...I may need to come up with a new ticker for percentage of body fat, and a new goal to go along with it.......

Jill, you are an amazing inspiration to us here and I can personally say because of some of the things you say & do I actually find the strength to dig deeper and longer to find the parts of me that goes further, tries harder, works longer etc to get myself on track and get healthier & happier a little more each day. Its very interesting how our bodies react to exercise and being "over" healthy. In another direction my iron which has been a sticking point in my life for several years has been a PIA and I am happy to report that LAST March when I had labs and such completed that my iron was incredibly & dangerously low and now??? Its in the mid to upper range and climbing!!!! Its also making me feel better, like doing more and I am really noticing a difference. Its taken a few years to really get the issue(s) dealt with and with some minor setbacks I'm still doing wonderfully. So, I totally understand you and your situation. I appreciate how candid and open you are about everything. It truly helps put things in perspective for me and many others. Just know that you are doing wonderfully and that you are committed and successful at least to me!

Aaaww...that's sweet.  I really appreciate it.  I just figure that I'm not the only one who has these issues, and especially now since there are more runner****ting the road, I'm DEFINATELY not the only one with these issues.

I just hope that when other**** that same wall, that instead of getting frustrated and bagging it, that they rememebr that the same thing happened to me and I had to work through it, too. Interesting thing...I chatted with a friend of mine today who is a yoga instructor and her students are having the SAME problem and she is having to do alot of reseach to figure out why.  Maybe it's something in the air - haha.

WOW, I'm so glad you and the nutrionist are fine tuning a new eating program to make the most of what you need, what you use, etc.  It's so amazing to me that just a few changes like you mention make all the difference in fueling yourself for the heavy activity level you get.  :)
