Last Pre Op was today.....Sales at Vitamin Shoppe!

Good idea. I always strive to find ceative way's to explain thing's to my children! I even had to find a creative way to explain politic's to my oldest last night because his teacher ( Who I noramlly adore ) decided to tell them he was rooting for a certain canidate that Im not so thrilled about. My son took it was a sporting event or something and when watching the canidates on tv last night he screams out " Go ..blah blah blah " So I had to explain the difference between parties and also on a 9 year old level, how politic's/elections work... that was fun lol Brandi~

Good deal on the protein.  I have the Isopure powders in Vanilla and Pineapple-Orange-Banana.  You're welcome to a sample of each if you would like to try them (PM an address for me to mail to).  I don't particularly like them.  Oddly enough, prior to sugery I LOVED the Pineapple-Orange-Banana, it was so yummy, but post sugery it tastes bitter to me.  Funny how our tastes change.  When I found the clear Isopure, I was so excited, but it tastes metallic or something to me.  I survived on it for about the first month post surgery and then said goodbye.  I couldn't hang with trying to get down all 20oz of that stuff.  I would rather suffer through 6oz at a time and be done with it.  It's amazing how we all are so different.  That's why I try and write down all the things that people suggest, because you never know when the one will come along that is your next favorite protein.  :) I'm going to have to check out those calcium wafers.  The size of horse pills I'm doing are just crazy.  I justified buying them at the time because I couldn't see taking more of the petites, but now I don't know what's worse, HUGE pills or more pills.  ???

It was really nice meeting you Brandi. Thanks for the kids comment.  I think they are cute as well but hey I am there mother so of course I think they are cute.  I have been getting my last things in order as well.  I got all my vitamins and protien and water.  My house is clean and all I have left is to wash one more car seat.  I am going to try to stay busy the next couple of days.  I have my final day to get stuf done and my shopping for groceries for  the fam tomorrow since Nadia goes to the children center just once a week.  I will go tot he support meeting at the hospital tomorrow evening.  I hope you get a chance to go.  Trying to figure out what the kids and I will have for supper tomorrow since it will be my last BIG BAD meal.  I start my liquid diet Friday.  I will go tot the nutrition class in the am at the hospital and then after that will get david for school for his physical therapy.  I will probably go to my friends Friday night and her hubby will watch the kids so we can go to the movies and watch Jumper??  I will take the kids to the park Saturday and keep busy by going to the thrift stores.  I know I am aa thrift store junkie.  I love going and seaching for gymboree cltohes for my kids and toys.  Not sure what I will do sunday to keep busy but if you need any help please give me a call and let me know.  I will come out and help you wth cleaning if you want.  Then I will be stuck at home Monday and Tuesday .  Then off I go on Wednsday.  I still am not to sure on what time. I think it will be around 7 to 7:30 since I am second to be done.  I feel really great and not really nervous yet.  It is starting to hti me though because I do get butterflies at time when I realize how soon it is. Thanks...your kiddies are too cute...and so are mine :) lol I just think it was so cute how your son was facing the wall and not even noticing cause he was so involved in his game...lol reminds me of my boy's!
