What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???

Good Morning, Fitness Fanatics.............. Ok...who survived the storms last night?  Hope everyone did! Looks like a beautiful days is upon us...the sun is shining and the temps should be decent.  Today is a great day to get out and do some walking and enjoy the sunshine.  In fact, I saw cardinals yesterday (my first time this season, so Spring is on it's way!!). If you cannot walk, simple moves such as lifting your foot up and down, raising your arms up and down are great, too. Just make sure that no matter what you do, you have consulted with your physician and properly stretched before moving. So....What are YOU doing to move today??? Me?  I have dance class tonight, so I'll be moving there - haha. Until tomorrow!

Weren't the storms wild last night?? Scarey as we were on a tornado watch.... and the wind was very loud...... this morning looks beautiful out..... I plan to take a walk over lunch tio keep myself trim but not too much to make my legs swell - believe it or not I so want to exercise and am really missing it....... never thought I would hear those words out of my own mouth ;-) Jackie

I know what you mean.  I woke up about 2 am to all of the lighteining.  That song from the Wizard of Oz (when she is in the tornado) kept popping into my mind - haha.

Take it easy, don't want to increase the swelling in your legs.  But, I hear ya on the missing exercise.  That's how I was when  I was down. Enjoy your walk!

Ok Im off to the Dr again today and delivering Avon so no bike today an I was not on it yesterday either my calfs hurt, So Ill be on the go in and out up and down so Ill get mt exercise for today. But Im mentally drained does that count lol  The wind and rain was crazy here last night hawled all night here and blew my metal swing over on my porch. Hope all are safe an you have a great day....

Ok, back to the tape. The 3 mile power walk tape. I fianally got back to doing it today and I think me and Nora will go out in the backyard and play for a while. Then when Kayla comes home we will play some more. Have to be at work at 6 so I will wait for Kat's husband to come home so I can go.

Trying to keep up with the tape but letting other things get in my way. But I need to get back on track and stay there. My weight is down to 226 today and the sugars are getting better too. Between taking care of my dad and everybody else I let myself go and that is going to stop.

Completely understand your situation.  It's hard when you have to put everyone in front of you.  BUT...YOU are equally (if not more so) important.  You cannot give them what they need if you are grumpy and not feeling well.  So...consider yourself, too.
