Roanoke Support Group Meeting
I attended the meeting on Monday and had a chance to meet Anna Bryant. She is the cutest little thing. She spent time calming some of my fears and was a pleasure to meet. Thanks Anna. I'm even more excited now to have the surgery.
There was a video on the importance of Vitamin D. This was rather interesting. I learned that Vit D is as important as calcium and it can also come from the sun. But of course, overexposure to sun is bad. The man said to get about 5-15 minutes of sun, BEFORE you put on sunscreen. Just thought I would share this .
