Hello!
Thank you for your post. Hopefully I too will be as "calm" as can be the morning of my surgery. I know it will make it easier on my husband. I am going to be keeping busy this week as our 2nd graders are doing testings, so that is going be constant on the go. Friday is our last day before the springbreak, and then my 80 yr old aunt is arriving on Sunday to spend a week or two with us. It is going to be a little awkward with her being here this time with us and me not eating "whatever" is being served, so hopefully she will understand and be great in support of this. I am heading to the store to get my fred and wilmas! Thank you for your reply. Keep in touch everyone!!! Think I may be in great need of this.........

Hi Sarah,
Glad that you came out of lurkerdom and joined us. I am sure you are not nerdy - some of us are actually quie intelligent - we just hide it well lolol!
July is not nearly as far away as you think - you can use this time to read and learn everything you need to know so that you do not go ino the surgery wondering what it is all about. You have a lot of support from your doctor's office and a life coach plus a personal trainer is ensuring you get all round support. You will certainly benefit from that I guarantee it!
So welcome to the VA Board! We are all happy to have you here contributing!
