Finally Home ...

Well , I am finally moved in and my internet service has been reconnected . I had such a time . Verizon did not offer service here , but lead me to believe they did . Long Story . But I am back up and running . We are all moved in , and I have begun to decorate . It has definatly kept me busy . I have had several WOW moments. And at almost 4 years post op .. these where pretty nice . I first found that I could walk up and down 3 flights of stairs , carring boxes with out breaking a sweat or panting .. that was cool . I was tired each night but able to keep up . I have been out venturing through the neighborhood, and found a tanning salon . I decided to tan yesterday and had a " numb nut moment " I remembered I had implants and thought they may melt.. LOL .. but I remembered that Dr. K gave me the green light to tan, so my worries went away. I am burnt to say the least .. new butt and all .. LOL . I see so many new faces here . Welcome !! It is so good to see so many new faces and new journies . Remember there is a bunch of great support here . Use us .. as the long termers have so much to offer and know a thing or two about this thang they call WLS . Jill D and I are about to start our Groups . She is away right now and we have promised as soon as she is back we are going to start recruiting for the area's patients that want to attend our support groups . Ours is not one with a hospital sponsor , but is motivationaly and spiritual driven . I hope that those that live in the Leesburg-Winchester areas will come out to attend . I will be posting soon as to dates and places of the meetings . It promises to be a great group and so many great things planned for you . Stay tuned ! Well it feels good to be back ... Nat, I'm so happy the move is done and the fun part (decorating) has started. How wonderful that you were able to handle the physical challenge of moving boxes and such, especially up three flights of stairs! Oh, what a gift we have with our newly strong bodies.
