I have a date!!!!!

I have a date......I am so excited. I will be having RNY on Thursday May 22nd.  I have pinched my self several times just to make sure I am not dreaming.

Congratulations Vicky.  Dr Bautista is doing my surgery on April 30, so just a bit before you.  Hilary just called me 2 weeks ago with my date and they weren't booking into May yet.  He must be busy, busy, busy, lol.  I love that dr and his office.  If you need anything or just wanna talk, feel free to look me up. 

This is a great group of people, who are extremely helpful.  I am sure you will love it here.  I did, instantly.  Again, Congratulations.

Thank you Theresa. The process has been a little frustrating, I had my first appointment January 25th my papaerwork was submitted to Anthem almost two weeks later for approval then was told needed a letter of recommendation from my PCP got that on Feb 12th so everything was resubmitted on Feb13th. I found out on Feb 26th Anthem said they didn't have everything they needed so it was again resubmitted on that date needless to say I was very frustrated by then so I emailed the nurse reviewing my case (I work for Anthem) she didn't reply back so after two days of waiting I emailed her manager to inquire on the process and lo and behold was approved the same day March 3rd. I called Hilarie when I found out and she told me she had to have the official approval so needless to say I followed up with her yesterday because I rec'd the letter on March 6th and had not heard from her well she had never rec'd it so I faxed it over to her.............finally got my date. I have a co-worker that saw them for the first time on Feb 11th, she got her date on Feb 15th so she is having surgery April 17th, she started the whole process over a month after I started mine...........go figure but of course she is doing the lap band not RNY. Please keep me posted on how you are doing. Congratulations to you also. We are on our way!! Vicky    

Dr Bautista did my mother in law's Open rny about 3 year's ago this Aug! He is awesome!

Congratulations!!! I am excited for you. My date is April 28th. I'm "trying" to live like a WLS patient now, but need a lot of practice. LOL Best wishes to you, Penny
