I have a date!!!!!

How exciting! I love to log on and find newbies getting dates.  We are here for you all the way!

Am happy for you as well!!!  Seems the days do roll up quickly from the time you have a scheduled date.   I am getting way nervous you guys!!!!!  I am next Tues, March 18th.   I will know the time tomorrow when they call me from the hospital with all that info.  For now, I try to keep positive thoughts flowing, but every so many hours it makes me ALOT on edge.   I think I am more scared at this point in the eating after this and the DRINKING all the fluids that are required.  I pray to God that I can do it and keep doing it forever.   I am getting a baby food spoon and practicing eating small bites for when I return from the liquids and pureed.   I can't stand those little packet things for the water, so hopefully I will be able to still drink just plain H20.   I am worrying so much right now.  Just need to do whatever I can to chill.   Thank goodness I am working till Spring Break on Friday.  I am going to get everything in order before going on Tues morning.   Please keep in touch with me as I am really becoming on edge.  Am going to the GNC store tomorrow night to get protein mixes.   I have begun my flintstone chewables----those things are not so good neither!!! lol.   Ok, enough about nerves for the night----will check in tomorrow night .............Brenda

Thank you Brenda. I know you will do wonderful. I am sure being nervous is to be expected but in the end it will have been worth it all. I know what you mean about work I am hoping to work up until the day before my surgery. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. I am always available if you want to talk and for support. Congrats! I know you must be frustrated - I started the process in January as well and my surgery is not until JULY. But that's more because of my schedule. Insurance will drive you bonkers!! Here's to praying that the time flies by! Sarah

PINCH!!!  You're NOT dreaming!  CONGRATS.  It will be here before you know it!

Congratulations!  It does seem so unreal.  I just had my surgery on Tuesday and it still seems unreal.  Congratulations on taking this step to regain your health.
