I thought I'd pop in tonight since I brought the lappy home. I hardly recognize everyone... ya'll have gotten so skinny! Jen, Corin, Ann  ... all yall!! WOWZER!!! I don't know what's been going on but by just paroozing it looks like the passing of loved ones is prominent. It's been all around me lately. I don't like how 2008 is starting out.  Love to those who are experiencing this. I also have been experiencing missing ya'll and missing the support. Some old habits are trying to creep back in and Ive been able to take the middle road of moderation .... I still need to move more consistently... Eating has become welll .. frankly... a challenge.... but Im persevering. Im doing well.. I can't believe I've almost dropped 50 pounds in 3 months.. that's NUTS. When I say it like that it's like WOW.  But it seems like its slowly creeping off...  This is a wild ride... and I vow to be back more active here...  Im cleansing myself of my "sins" (the middle road moderation slips just pizza and sf ice cream but none the less to close to the red light district of bad food for my healthy lifestyle Im building).... we are human and we do have to learn right?  I raise my right hand and vow to not cheat or sabatoge myself of this gift I gave myself....  Till Tomorrow my friends...

OMG!  That pic is awesome!  Your face is getting so skinny, which means that the rest of you is too (you just didn't take a pic of that- haha). I know what you mean about the start of 2008.  Seems like everytime we trun around, someone ese passes.  My hubby lost his Mom about 6 weeks ago. Glad to hear that you are doing well.  Just know that you are normal.  At over 2 years out, I fight these demons every day.  But, know that there is great support here for you. Good Luck, (((hugs)))) to ya!

Hey Amanda! Congrats on the weight loss!!!  It is not always easy to lose weight but you need to try to get into some habits that you can live with..... that helps you develop good eating patterns and makes life much easier.

The surgery helps with the eating but does not help with your head unfortunately - we have to try and manage that ourselves..... But you can still do this - you have the willpower  - I have faith in you!! Jackie
