MY AFFAIR IS OVER

My affair with food is officially over. MY surgury date is Monday, March 17!!! I was so shocked when the doctor told me yesterday, I started to cry. Crazy huh?I am horrified! So much to do, only two days to get my house cleaned, laundry,grocery store, I dunno what else, I am shell shocked. Pam

Well you sure don't have too much time to be shocked over it - or to worry too much - it will be here before you know it! But I know you are going to do just fine - we will all be routing for you!! Brandi, I was thinking of you two when the doctor told me, it's unbelieveable to have 2 surgery sisters in one week! That's awesome! I have a question on Protein drinks.   I purchased from the GNC store a HUGE bottle of Isopure, the flavor is :  pineapple/banana/orange.   It says to measure two scoops to get 50 grams of protein in a 12 water.   I don't see a scoop so have no idea of how much two scoops are.  Is this something that is supposed to be inside the can?  I know this is probably a silly question, but I am clueless.  I had a very rough time with emotions today.   It wasn't that I didn't want to go through with this on Tues, it was just thinking so much about the "what if" I can't consume the protein or other fluids.  Keep telling myself in about a months time I will look back and just shake my head and smile over being so silly.  But for now, it is so real and scary.   Thanks for helping me in so many ways on this site.   Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi, I would suggest dumping the can into a cake pan, the scoop has most likely settled into the bottem of it, they usually do. Try not to  worry, I am. And don't be afraid to ask questions, that's what everyone is here for. We love it. Pam

Thank you Pam.   I considered emptying it into a bowl and seeing if it were there but instead have shaken and shaken it thinking I would hear it eventually hit the side of the GREAT BIG CONTAINER of this stuff.   Still nothing so maybe tomorrow I will empty it into something.   Was just trying to figure out what amount is a scoop.   I sure hope to get it to go down. I am just so afraid of not being able to sip even the full 12 oz of this protein in a days time.   I am such a worrier!!!
