Congrats my friend sorry this is late getting to you but been overwelmed with so much. But Im glad you have this wonderful news and I know you are proud as a pea**** grinning from ear to ear! Your son has made a great choice and you will be peeking in I know the mother in you wont keep you away but at least he will be close by.

Jill:  That is absolutely wonderful!  As you know, the military, though tough, is a great life, and the fact that he is going ROTC and getting the education is even better!  How nice that he will be close to home, but not so close that the empty nester syndrome can't kick in!  ;)  I know you and your family are very proud, as you should be.  Best of luck to him...he sounds like a great guy.

Jill, That is great news. I am sure you are justifiably proud. My oldest graduated from George Mason last Dec., My middle graduates from Mason this May, and my youndest graduates from high school in June and starts at Va Tech in the fall. Curently all are still at home, but we can see the empty nest approaching. What I can't figure out is how people as young as you and me have kids in college. Joe
