Please help...need some advice

Hello all.... I am in some need of help. I have been having issues with eating. I think I might have an ulcer. Mind you ...I dont have insurance yet. And just need some advice. I have tried to eat last two days, and have run to the bathroom, with what I ate, and acid. I am so ill, to my tummy. The acid is unbearable. Any advice at this point is much appreicated. Thanks

Since none of us are doctors, I think perhaps you need to call your surgeon asap and see if he can shed some light on what might be going on. It sounds too serious to ignore. I'm sorry you're having this problem! I hope you feel better soon.

Good am Steph, Please call your doctor! Ulcers are bad news!! Also, I would avoid anything acidic if at all possible. I am on meds currently for mine and its a script called Protonix. I do remember there being OTC meds you can take but again I would call your docs office to be sure of which ones they suggest in your situation. Prayers coming your way that you get some relief. I understand that you do not have insurance, but this could be a serious medical issue and may require immediate medical attention. Ulcers are bad news and quite ugly to deal with.

I recommend that you contact your doc immediately for an exam. Good luck!

I agree with the others. At least put a call in to yoru doctor & see what they recommend. You don't want to end up in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer as some of the others here have experienced. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

Thank you, Cindy. Much appreicated. I did speak with the nurse Prat today. She said to try over the counter meds to see if that helps. We should get together one day, since you and I live in Stafford. ;) Thank you again. Take care,
