So here I am

Good morning.  I am new to this board.  I have been pursuing WLS RNY little over a year.  The first time I started, I was stopped because I did not have 6 months of WL Program.  Jumped head first without reasearching.  So back in July I joined WW.  I started out at 414lbs and I am not down to 390lbs.  I started back up with my surgeon and have heard some news so far.  They are just needing a nutirional letter and more info from the surgeon's office to proceed to the review board.  Well, by the grace of God, if you want to look at it like, I have had nurtional counceling the past couple months due to a dx of diabetes.  So as soon as I get the letter from them,  I will be able to proceed. 

congrats and welcome to the va board. it took me 2 years to get the ball rolling on my surgery. good luck with everything. keep us posted.

Welcome!  You will find this bunch both helpful and uplifting!   This board is the best.  Congrats on getting the ball rolling towards your new healthier you!  It is by no means an easy process, but only a week out from surgery, I'm already feeling that it was completely worth it.

Welcome to the Board!  It's a great group of people!  It sounds like you are on your way...you'll be surprised how quickly time will pass leading up to the surgery.
