Melinda,
I echo the others here who are praying for you and your mom - for wisedom, patience, and a heart of forgiveness. I can only imagine how you must feel, but please don't allow your mother or yourself to become bitter over this. What happened is awful, but spending too much time dwelling on it will only have a negative effect on your and your mother's health - mental and physical. It is only natural that thoughts or conversations of this will come up but don't stay there too long. In your mind and your conversation, start fresh from today. Help your mother look forward, toward whatever God has instore for her. This will go a long way toward helping her get through the grief of loosing her home.
Your mother must be a wonderful wonderful woman to have raised such a caring daughter.
