Dr. Krieger patients?????

Has anyone here used Dr. Mitchell Krieger in Fairfax for their plastic surgery after weight loss? I had a consult with him yesterday and was impressed with him, but would love to hear personal recommendations/critiques from anyone who has used him. This is a big decision, and I want to get it right! Thanks in advance for your help. Shellie

Shellie,  a few of us have used him - I can't recommend him highly enough! He has done my lower body lift, breast lift, under arms, breast implants and liposuction on my inner thighs. I still have to have the thigh lift but he would not do it last time as he felt my iron was too low. So that will be in a few months. He is the best and such an artist - I love all the work he has done! Jackie

I have used Dr. Krieger twice.  He did a lower body lift and then an upper body lift with auto-augmentation with my breast lift.  I am very pleased.  Fair Oaks hospital is great and Dr. Kreiger is very skilled and has a great bedside manner.  You will be impressed at how attentive he is while you are recuperating.  Loris

Dr. K is AMAZING!!!  He did my lower body lift and breast lift back in Oct and my results are wonderful. I am going back in Oct for a thigh lift and implants....he is the ONLY one I will allow to do it - note: I live in Norfolk and have to drive 3 hours to use him.  He's THAT good. And his bedside manner is fantastic.  Never doubt whether he is there for you or not. PM me if you wouldlike to see my pics and good luck!

Shellie, Just wanted to add my recommendations for Dr. Krieger! I was there to see him on the 20th as well! I had my second round of plastics with him on Wednesday, the 19th. In November I had a lower body lift. This week I had an upper body lift, arms and breast lift (no implants). Dr. Krieger saw me Tuesday, Wednesday morning to mark me, stayed in surgery with me for 8 hours, woke me up in the recovery room, came to see me about 8:30 that night, had the nurses call him at 2 a.m., was back at 7 the next morning and finally came back at 12:30 to release me. I stayed at a hotel one more night and saw him at 10 the next morning when I was fitted with my compression garment. Today I got flowers from his office. I had a complication last time and he was Johnny on the Spot to fix it and had me see him very frequently until I was healed. He's writing a book too! He's the best! Like Jill and Loris, I have to travel to see him as well but it's worth it because I trust him. Good luck! CeCe

So you're the patient the coordinator was talking about! She said they had just seen a patient who was doing amazingly well, and it must have been you. I was very impressed with Dr. Krieger.....he has a calm and reassuring manner and really seems to know his stuff. Yes, I guess I'm the one Leslie was talking about! Today (4 days out) I'm still doing well but this morning wasn't great! I had a little nausea and diarrhea. I think I went a little overboard with the stool softeners trying to avoid constipation!! I did have a nice long shower and that felt good. I'm still very swollen and that was what bothered me most after the LBL too.  I think you will be very happy with Dr. Krieger! I just hope you don't have any tattoes in the area you are going to have PS! Just ask Jill what he does to tattoes!!! He cuts off the heads!!! Just teasing but it was funny to call him a Tattoo Killer!  CeCe

Shellie, What procedure(s) are you considering having done? No PS is a walk in the park but the results are amazing! I'm quickly remembering how much it kicks your butt!!! Still, I know that in just a couple of weeks I'll have forgotten these first few days following surgery! CeCe
