Julia,  Congratulations on your great accomplishments and surgiversary!!  Thank you for posting. Its great to see someone from the same practice I chose having success!  Your photo looks familiar (Lifetouch?)....are you a teacher as well?

Yep!  I am a teacher --- or I was until I retired last June.  Now I teach part-time as an Adunct Prof at GMU.    I had Dr. Chan as my surgeon and he was terrific.  Good luck with your recovery.  I know this surgery was the best thing I ever did for myself!  Just take things slowly and know that if you follow the doctor's and nutritionist orders you will lose the weight and begin to feel great soon.
