I just wanted to say hi to everyone! I am in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and have lots of questions about WLS! I am going to sit back and kind of watch what you guys have to say. But I would love to hear from you too. Do you guys know of any support groups that I could go to? Helpful hints?
~ Ashley~ Looking for my answer, is a bit overwhelming ;) Thanks so much to all of you for sharing your experiences with me!

My support group meets at the Bon Secours health center in North Suffolk, just across the M/M from you. Great group with a mix of pre and post-op people.

WELCOME to the Va Board! Glad you've joined us! I'm here in Richmond so I'm not aware of the support groups in your area. However, I see others are responding and so hopefully you'll find some great groups and information. Please feel free to jump in and post/reply with questions, concerns and anything you'd like to talk about. We're open minded, ready and eager to help and support you and I look forward to seeing you around more often! All best!

Welcome to the Board!  Feel free to ask questions when you have them -- there's a lot of experience on this Board, and it is a great resource for others.  Not sure about support groups down your way, but it looks like you have several suggestions from other members.  :)
