Have you tried the bullets from IDS or Profect? If you take them really cold they don't taste that bad - and they are only 3 ounces and have enough protein for one shot - I take them every day - I don't really taste them - i just gulp them back as fast as I can and they are all over with. I have difficulties with protein drinks too  - that protein taste makes me ill!  I liked Iosopure before surgery but after it did not like it.... If you need more details on the Liquid Whey Protein by IDS or the Profect just let me know.... Jackie

I would like to take you up on learning more about where I can get these 3 ozers!!!  I am desperate at this point.   What is the cost? and how much protein is in a shot?   Anxiously awaiting to hear back on this one-----I can't stomach anymore shakes!

There are a couple of different kinds and they do vary in cost - my suggestion - before you buy many of them - is to go to GNC and buy a couple to see if you like them - GNC wil refund your money if you don't like them - then if you do search the internet to find the cheapest as they vary GREATLY in price- I always search the internet before I purchase and use about 6 different places depending on the price.... they are a more expensive way of doing this but I felt that it was all I could take at the time and was too afraid not to take protein....... Here are some details from a website on them: ""Introducing the most convenient delivery of protein ever conceived! NEW WHEY liquid protein from IDS is revolutionizing protein supplementation! NEW WHEY delivers 25 grams of pure protein with no carbs or fat in a 2.9 ounce serving! Perfectly conceived convenience, consumed in as little as three seconds! With its patent pending virtually indestructible packaging, NEW WHEY can be taken anywhere conveniently and easily. No messy mixing of powders, & no messy clean up. NEW WHEY is the ideal protein supplement for people on the go! "" Now they do come in 25g and 42grams but as you are only a couple of weeks out I would recommend the 25g. Let me know if this is enough information. Profect is the same but has many more flavors. Jackie

Thank you Jackie AGAIN!   I have checked our GNC and we don't have anything like this.  I did return the Isopure and got refunded but other than this, I didn't see anything else there in Protein that I could handle and when asking the guy there, he basically said---you aren't going to find anything that will taste good.   NEW WHEY is in a vial also?   I am sorry if I don't seem to know very much about this stuff, but I actually don't!  I had high hopes of finding Unjury to keep me up till I no longer needed them, but this isn't going to be the case....UGH!!!! lol..........Thanks again.

There are many different types of protein out there and whey protein is one of the best.  Many people develop a taste or do not mind the taste and a few of us never develop a taste for it - so you may be able to find one you like..... the vial proteins will not fill you up though like the shakes will do but you do get protein in which you do need.... IDS call it New Whey protein - as far as I know there is not a new one out there but as I stick with the bullets so do not always pay attention.  Of course you can't now about all of this stuff - nobody did in the beginning of their journey either so don't despair. It will all become clearer to you as you get into you journey..... You are welcome! Jackie

I went on the Profect site and have now placed an order for "bullets".   I am greatly looking forward in no more milky supplements!!!!  I am GREEN at this point with them.  Hoping it won't take long to arrive.   Until then, I will TRY to get my normal in with powder.   Yuck Yuck! Thank you again for helping me out on this one.   I will be glad when I can cut back on the protein and be taking more by foods.   I think the protein part is by far worse than surgery and the days following! lol.....Thanks again.........Brenda

Well I hope you like them.                                                        I can also suggest some powders that are not milky.  Nectar and Nectar Naturals are fruit flavored protein powders.  Initially I got my samples from www.vitalady.com, when i decided on a favorite i order the 2lb container.  My favorite so far is Nectar Naturals Orange, there are probably 10 flavors to try!                                                       And I also had one of the ladies suggest www.smartforme.com.  She sent me one of the cold drink samples (peach mango) and it was SOOOOO yummy.  It was by far the best protein I've had for - both taste and texture (not gritty at all - it seemed to melt into the water).  But unfortunatey my lactose intolerance didn't agree with that type of protein - i am sensitive to whey protein concentrates... :(  i was so dissapointed because it was so yummy.

I like the IDS Whey better than the Profect but profect does have more flavors. It does get easier as you get further into your journey I promise - and when you can eat food you know you are getting some protein in while you search for something you can take. I can't express strongly enough though how important your protein is - please try to take in as much as you can as you need it for healing and your general well being..... But you are trying and that is important! Good luck...... Jackie

Try a few of the flavors and decide on a flavor you like, then, Vitamin Shoppe sells them in bulk packages for cheaper.  Off the shelf I found bullets to be close to $3 each, but in bulk I got it down to about $2.50 I think.  I'msure you can find them for cheaper on the internet also, but then you have the shipping costs to think about.  ARGH!  :)

Unfortunately we don't have any Vitamin SHoppes or any other stores other than this one GNC store around.  That is 40 miles away even and doesn't seem to carry very much at all.   If you guys know of a site that I can look on to gain access to this, please let me know.   I have literature from my dietz.com, it shows they have shakes and powders etc and claim to be great tasting.   I just want to hurry up and gulp this mess down and be done with it and have the protein done.   I can't wait to get "real food" and not have to take so much protein!!!   Thanks again, I will let you know what I find online and see how it goes.............
