Jill,  thank you vey much for the fanfare lol!! I am pleased to do the MC for this event and hope we get lots of support from everyone to keep the events free of charge! There may be a few other surprises - but I can't say -  or they would have to kill me ;-) Thank you once again! Jackie

Man...you guys went to the beach yesterday??? Yes, Jackie...I need a new pic...lol.  I can't finger out how to change my avatar or rather, how to make the pic small enough for the avatar... So, I changed mine to a generic one and put the newer pics in my profile...lol. You probably won't even notice me.  I'm the quiet one sitting in the back somewhere. I might not say much, but I'm taking it all in.....  I don't miss a thing. haha.   I made a reservation for the Embassy Suites 2-4May and Ill call Monday to register for the event. I called the number and left Kim a msg...lol.  Ill call her back on Monday though. Sounds like it's going to be an informative and fun event... Looking forward to it. Lately, I'm really needing some support.  It's been 11 months for me and I finally have my appetite back, but I hate these ... these... cravings that I'm having. I never craved suger, but now, a "craving" is the only way I can describe it... it's insatiable and I hate it. I guess it's my transfer of addiction?   And I seem to be at a standstill...a plateau...which doesn't help me at all. So....I'm frustrated. :-) xo J

I am off to look at your profile so I know you when you come to Ashburn lol! I am not a lot of use at the technical stuff on changing picture size but I know there is usually a button that says reduce size somewhere when you are in some kind of picture editor.... Well I will try and help with your cravings but don't really have enough details so I will give you some general ones - and if you want to pm me I can try and help you specifically......

When my appetite came back I was horrified........ but here are some things that can help........ Write down EVERYTHING you eat - you may be surprised to see that you eat a bit more than you thought..... Make sure you drink all your liquids per day Try to not eat starches and sugars for a few days to try to break the cravings ( I have a plan that may help you with this) Change your exercise program - and step it up a bit........ We may need to help you work put you RMR (resting metabolic rate) to make sure you are not taking in more calories that you are using... You may need to go back to your nutritionist to make sure you are eating enough or eating too much. If you have alrewady recorded your daily food intake for a few days this will help them make an assessment. There are lots of programs out there to help you record and count your food. Try to eat smart   - like eating foods that make you feel fuller  - I recommend the books on Volumetrics - that is a way of eating that recommends foods that make you feel fuller for longer.... without increasing what you are allowed to eat.  Makes good reading! Bear in mind that sometimes a plateau is not a bad thing  - it is your body's way of catching up with itself - a real plateau is usually 3 months or more long -shorter ones are usually just a break..... you may need t think about which one this is and how long it has been,... but we can try and jump start it again..... If I can help more please let me know - I will be more than happy to assisit you Jackie

try www.shrinkpictures.com.  I've seen others suggest it on the board.  :)  I use the photo editor that came with the computer, but even after a few times now, it's still tricky if the photo was taken as a large file.  You will need the avatar to be 100x100 and less than 20mg's

HEY!!!!  Can't wait to see you there!  Funny...gotta go to Ashburn to see ya - haha. Anyways....please don't be frustrated.  Get back on track, write everything down, get in your exercise, etc.  PLUS...we are ALL here for you. Try to identify WHY you are hungry.  Are you actually thirsty?  Is there something else that could curb your craving??
